Training Services
The training services provided by Vision Network Pty Ltd include: facilitation of Workshops; facilitation of Accredited, Non-Accredited and Customised Training Programs; and the development of Training Programs.
All the training services provided by Vision Network Pty Ltd to our clients incorporate the following:
Assessment of Client Needs
An assessment of the needs of clients is undertaken with designated personnel in an organisation prior to the development and delivery of training programs. This assessment relates to the program objectives and outcomes, customisation for the organisation, target participants, relevant level and content, required number of sessions, and arrangements for delivery of the program. The assessment of client needs is included in the cost of the program.
Accelerated Learning Methods
Accelerated learning methods are used in the delivery of training programs to assist the learning by participants. The methods include music and colour to stimulate participant’s use of their senses, opportunities for participants to show their feelings and express their emotions in an acceptable manner, activities based on real life situations that make sense to participants, use of a combination of intuition and logic by participants, and content that expands the attitudes and thinking of participants.
Achievement of Outcomes
The achievement of outcomes is a focus of training programs. This is linked to the program objectives and outcomes identified as part of the assessment of client needs. The achievement of outcomes is at two levels. One is the achievement of program outcomes for the organisation. Two is the achievement of learning outcomes for participants.
Creative Problem Solving Processes
Processes are used in the delivery of training programs to encourage participants to engage in creative ways of problem solving. The processes include the use of intuition, feelings and visualisation to initially consider all aspects of a problem and how it can be solved. Other processes include brainstorming and clustering of aspects of a problem, creating a picture, discussions with other people and using a balance of intuition and logic to work out solutions.
Effective Skill Development Techniques
Techniques to assist effective skill development by participants are used in the delivery of training programs. The techniques include linking skills that participants already have with new skills, using related existing skills to expand their use in different contexts, and practicing new skills to assist their integration.
Focus on Active Participant Learning
Active participant learning is a focus in the delivery of training programs. This is encouraged through an agreement with participants to take responsibility for their own learning, catering for individual needs of participants e.g. dietary needs, provision of a non-threatening and supportive learning environment, learning that caters for a diversity of learning styles, activities that require individual participant responses, and small group activities to assist shared group learning.
Recognition of Participant Strengths
Participant strengths are recognised in the delivery of training programs. This means that the strengths of participants on an individual and collective basis are valued and supported. These strengths are in terms of participants’ abilities, knowledge, skills, attitudes, culture, personalities, experience and prior learning. Opportunities are provided for participants to use their strengths as part of the learning process and to assist their intake of new information.
